Tell me where your pain is hidden

Tell me where your pain is hidden

In pools in your eyes

spilling over

silent

Into the cavity of your heart

120 beats per minute

constant

In the creases of your smile

letting go

distant

In the way your hips carry it

memorized

bearing witness

In your chest lifting

then piercing
predictably persistent

Tell me where your pain is hidden
I think I might have seen it
